Bethania Home Mission is a sacred outreach of the Congregation of the Holy Family, specially devoted to families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. Guided by deep compassion and Christian love, the Holy Family Sisters lovingly accompany these families in their sorrow, offering comfort and spiritual presence during their most difficult moments.
Drawing inspiration from the biblical account where Jesus visited the family of Martha and Mary in Bethany upon the death of their brother Lazarus, the CHF Sisters strive to follow this divine example. They visit bereaved families, pray with them, and share in their grief—bringing consolation, hope, and the assurance that they are not alone.
This mission is also deeply rooted in the legacy of St. Mariam Thresia, the revered foundress of the Congregation. Moved by Christ-like compassion, she personally reached out to families in mourning, embodying the true spirit of Christian solidarity. Through the Bethania Home Mission, her legacy of mercy and empathy continues to shine, touching hearts and healing wounds with the power of presence and prayer.
