About IFDF

The Congregation of Holy Family (CHF), founded in 1914 in Kerala, India, by the mystic and stigmatist Saint Mariam Thresia. Her mission is to serve families and save humanity. The Family Apostolate is central to the CHF mission, and the organization is fully devoted to it. The Family Apostolate focuses on the spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of families; offering a wide range of activities and programs designed to support and nurture family life, helping families grow in faith and love. In 1986, the Integrated Family Development Forum (IFDF) was established in Vadookara, Thrissur, to coordinate the activities of the Family Apostolate in the CHF Navajyothi Province.

The organization is guided by Family Apostolate Training and Research Institute (FATRI) in Velur, Thrissur. IFDF is a collaborative initiative aimed at providing comprehensive support and resources to families, addressing their diverse needs through a coordinated and holistic approach. IFDF strengthens self-sufficiency, builds strong family bonds, and improves overall well-being. Its objective is to create a favorable and encouraging atmosphere for families, allowing them to prosper and contribute to society’s advancement.
